Development of educational and business co-operation in in
environmental and construction technology in the Republic of
Karelia and other regions of Northwest Russia (LVK)
The University of Oulu and its unit NorTech Oulu (former Arctic
Technology Centre) have launched the first project in environmental
technology, accepted to the Interreg III A Karelia programme
for the new programme period. The aim of the project is to develop
educational system and promote business opportunities between
Finnish and In Russian companies in the field of environment and
construction. NorTech Oulu (University of Oulu), Oulu Chamber
of Commerce, Institute of Technology (Oulu Polytechnic) co-operates
with Finnish companies and give their know-how and expertise
for the use of enterprises.
