Micro Waste to Energy: micro energy to rural business
MicrE developed and promoted
innovative small scale renewable energy solutions for rural
SME’s and local organisations in the Northern Periphery.
These solutions use new and existing technologies which
have not been tried in a rural environment before, such as
gasification, pyrolysis and anaerobic digestion. Targeted
were especially SMEs which generate organic by-products and
waste, such as of food and biotechnology industries.
