Environmental technology research, education and cooperation for the Northern environment and wellbeing

NorTech Oulu coordinates and conducts international research, educational and development activities at the University of Oulu.

NorTech Oulu is until 31.12.2015 part of the Thule Institute, which is a multidisciplinary research centre in the field of environmental issues, natural resources and materials, one of the focus areas of the University of Oulu.

As of 1.1.2016, NorTech Oulu will be part of the Faculty of Technology, as Energy and Environmental Engineering Research Group.
